What You’ll Be Doing as a Piano Teacher
As a Pianobase teacher, you’ll lead small. creative group lessons that nurture confidence, imagination, and joy.
Your main duties will include:
🎵 Teach engaging, group-based piano lessons for students of all ages and skill levels
🎵 Design lesson plans that encourage exploration, improvisation, and creativity
🎵 Create a warm, student-focused environment where every child feels supported
🎵 Adapt your approach to suit different personalities and learning styles
🎵 Collaborate with fellow teachers to share ideas and keep lessons fresh
🎵 Communicate progress clearly and positively with parents and carers
🎵 Inspire students to participate in concerts, workshops, and creative projects
🎵 Take part in occasional training and team sessions to build your skills

✔️ Solid piano skills and a good understanding of music theory
✔️ Previous teaching experience (preferred, but not essential)
✔️ A genuine love for working with kids and making learning fun
✔️ Confidence adapting to different student personalities and group dynamics
✔️ A collaborative mindset and willingness to keep learning
✔️ A current Working with Children Check and Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
